In Gregor Mendel's pea plant experiment. The reason that F1 and P1 looks so different is be cause of the two factors. One is Dominant and other is recessive. Which cause them to look differently, but they are still genetics.

In the movie of Gattaca parents were allowed to pick the traits of the children, so does real life. In some countries, there  are many people that are transexuals.  Also the technology now is so well prepared. So changing the traits wouldn't be so hard.

  The government can isolate patient because of the infectious disease.  These patients should be generous since more people may get the same disease and die.  However, the military force can be a part of isolation if these patients look angry and try to come out by force.  The military can only encircle these people but not kill them.  The patients also need to cooperate well due to all of us are caring about their lives.

8.How to enter the Hot Zone!?

I would equip some gears that no air could have any contacts to my body. Also i would prepare some flashlights incase i need it. I would also wear some special boots that makes u walk faster. And i would bring a partner with me incase one of us is in danger, we would get some extra supports on the side.

5.Beneficial Bacteria and Harmful Bacteria

Most people thinks bacteria is harmful to the human, but they are wrong. Bacteria are single-celled organisms. There is no distinct nucleus inside their body sell, so they are also called the prokaryotes. Bacteria lives in soil, water, and air. Some beneficial bacteria produce some antibacterial properties, it helps clean our bodies of dangerous toxins.

There are also harmful bacteria, some might even causes typhoid fever, or food illness. Some causes small infections or diseases among animals or human. Harmful bacteria could also causes death depending on how strong the bacteria is. Even one out of millionths could causes death. In the human history, bacteria have killed over millions.

4.Importance of Science News

Scientific news tells us whats happening around the world, many of them would affect human's life. It also increases your knowledge of science. I read this article about hungry bears that lives in the west mountains. They're hungry because of the climate change. It causes to start attacking humans. It makes the civilization, or villages on the mountains dangerous. It'll also makes the people harder to live. Scientific news gives information that really helps people.

3.Are Non-Carbon Based Life Possible?

I think it could be, and highly possible. Maybe almost all organisms are made by carbons, carbons is the best element to form lifes. Somepeople believed in silicon-based life forms, and electromagnetic-based life forms. I wonder what creature can  they create with those elements. I believe nothing its impossible, and maybe alien doesn't need carbon either. Im guessing animals like starfish, jellyfish, and organisms like that wouldn't require carbons, but thats just my guess. Carbon is something important along most living organisms, because when animals dies the body breaks down, and creates something called "carbon dioxide"

2.Should the U.S. Switch to Metric System?

My answer would be yes. Several years ago NASA rocket failed cause of the mistake on the measurements. The first reason that I think the U.S. should be using metric system, is that it makes everything so much easier to understand. The metric system changes the unit, but doesn't change the number only the unit of the number by adding a 0 or subtracting 0. Example:14554cm equals to 145540mm. Another reason why i think U.S. should be using the metric system is cause its international, any country can use it easily for communications on information and data.

1.Goals for the Year

My first goal for the year is to pass all my classes with an A. I'll always turn in my homework on time, and use more time studying on weekends. My second goal for the year is to learn how to write better in Chinese. I came to U.S. when i was ten, so i haven't write in Chinese for 4-5 years. My third goal is to learn more English words and speak better, so people could understand me better.
